Women in Tech Community Conversation - Whitehorse

WinTech World's "Driving WinTech" tour will be in Whitehorse of Wednesday, September 13, in conference room A of the High Country Inn.

The event will take place in Conference Room A of the High Country Inn, form 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Snack food and non-alchoholic drinks will be provided. There will be bar service at the conclusion of evening, for those who want to do a little follow-up networking.

Women in Tech World is a non-profit organizaton "dedicated to creating opportunities, connections and actionable steps to elevate women in tech."

"Driving WinTech" is a Canada-Wide fact-finding mission featuring community conversations about women in technology. Each conversation also includes a panel of trail-blazing local female technology professionals.

The goals of this project are to:

  • Define who are women in tech in Canada
  • Understand women's experiences in the tech industry
  • Identify best practices for inclusion an promotion of women in the tech industry.
