- Every Northwestel residential customer in Northern Canada will receive temporary relief on their internet usage in March and April
- Northwestel technicians are continuing to carry out in-home visits with our customers, as needed. They have put in a number of protocols to protect both staff and customers
- Several channels have been made available on free preview for Northwestel TV subscribers to help our customers stay informed and entertained during this period. Select TV packages are 50% off until April 30th.
- Northwestel retail centre locations in Whitehorse and Yellowknife are closed until further notice, but staff are still working behind the scenes to help customers. Northwestel’s Customer Care Centre can be reached during regular working hours via online chat or by phone. - Continue to offer in-store service for iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers. They have a disinfecting station to ensure there is no transmission between customers and staff via their device. They are only allowing a maximum of four customers in the store at one time. They are doing walk-in as well as appointments for sales and service.
- Are offering Remote Support to work on Mac and iPhones and are able to run diagnostics on most units remotely and have enterprise level software to provide remote support and service for customers at home.
- Refurbished a number of Pre-Owned Laptop and Desktops and will be discounting these 15% for any models in stock. Also, they have some steeply discounted new MacBook Air and iPad Pros in stock for customers to work on from home.
- Thorough cleaning and disinfecting of devices for all service and all devices are stored in protective foam once they are cleaned and disinfected.
