IP Bootcamp: Strategy, Copyright, Trademarks & Licensing in Digital Media

November 21, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Free
A full-day, in-depth workshop on how to protect and leverage digital media and brand assets for your business.

Creators, artists, photo/videographers, authors, and educators: whether you’re looking to license training materials, digital products, creative assets, or written work, this bootcamp will help you unlock new income streams by leveraging your creative content and brand.

How are you protecting your work, shaping your brand, and capturing value in today’s fast-moving, tech-driven world? We’ll go beyond the basics to give media creators, entrepreneurs, and business leaders the tools to build an actionable IP strategy aligned with their business goals.

You’ll learn about the different forms of IP protection, how to think strategically about IP, when protection is worth pursuing, and how to navigate real-world challenges like competitors, infringement, and organizational culture around IP. Case studies and group discussions will bring these ideas to life.

We’ll also take a deep dive into copyright, trademarks, and licensing, with practical frameworks and examples that show how to protect creative assets, strengthen your brand, and structure deals. From understanding ownership and rights management to negotiating licensing terms, you’ll gain clarity on the nuances that can make or break your approach to monetization.

By the end of the day, you’ll have a sharper understanding of how IP directly impacts your business model, plus practical insights you can apply immediately, whether you’re building a brand, licensing content, or scaling your company. Learn how to maximize the value of what you’ve already created. AND get paid for it again and again.
