It was an intense week filled with meetings with ecosystem partners, potential funders, technology vendors, and entrepreneurs, we utilized our time there to strengthen relationships, explore new collaborations, and support continued innovation across the ecosystem. This included connecting with organizations like the Canadian Trade Commission, Indigenous Tech Circle, First Nations Technology Council (FNTC), Web Summit Orgnanizers, Taiwan Trade Center (TTC), New Ventures BC (NVBC), Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABI), and many more.

Tech Yukon gave us a stage at Web Summit Vancouver we couldn’t have built on our own. As a young Indigenous-led sovereign AI company from Whitehorse, having a booth on that floor put us in front of founders and investors from across Canada and around the world and proved that the conversations we’re trying to have about sovereignty, Indigenous data, and Canadian AI infrastructure resonate far beyond the territory. The delegation Tech Yukon assembled is real proof that the North is building things the rest of the country needs to pay attention to.
-Cole Robulack, Co-Founder & CEO, Fireweed AI
