Data analytics for improved decisions

October 25, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

About this event

There are many factors that can help predict future demand for your product or services: season, market trends, current events, past behaviour, and more.

Trying to forecast for all these factors with an excel sheet and guesswork can lead to costly errors and a mismatch between need and available funds.

In this workshop, we will discover what data analytics is about and explore how to use it to address the challenging issues in an ever-changing world. Through an industry application in the pharmaceutical space, we will learn how to apply data analytics to analyze demand data, and to prescribe solutions for capacity and stocking decisions. The workshop will include hands-on data visualization activities.

Whether you’re a business looking to make staffing and cash flow decisions or a front-line service provide trying to predict budgets and employee schedules to meet community demand, this workshop will provide you with insights and skills you can implement in your organization right away.

This is a virtual event and is free to attend
