Open Data Analytics with Vector Research

November 13, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

About this event

In this presentation, Paul Kishchuk, owner of Vector Research, will illustrate the potential of Tableau analytics software to inform evidence-based decision making with rich visualizations. Using data from the Yukon Government’s newly launched Open Data portal, Paul will show how to move beyond static charts and graphs and create interactive dashboard visualizations. He’ll also take Prep, Tableau’s companion data wrangling tool, for a quick spin to demonstrate how to quickly liberate spreadsheet data into properly structured datasets poised for analysis.
