During this lunch & learn, we will review commonly used online communication tools, such as e-mail, instant messaging and document collaboration tools. We will consider the security implications, regulatory requirements and insurance obligations of the various communication methods. Additionally, we will explore various platforms that are designed to meet the specific needs of Canadians and what the security of our online communications could look like in the future.

Martin Lehner has worked in the technology industry for over 15 years as a cybersecurity professional, systems administrator and network solutions architect. He specializes in cybersecurity in areas such as information systems security and disaster recovery engineering. A 2021 Harvard University Cybersecurity grad, Martin has consulted with governments and been published in national media.
